Retained Executive Search

  • A retained search is best suited for senior executive and board level roles, particularly where there is a shortage of potential leaders or there is particularly high demand for the skill set your require.

  • Chase Executive works on only one or two retained search projects at a time, to ensure a high level of service and the quality of results that you require are delivered within your timescales.

  • The search is detailed and extensive. Whilst exploring our existing and substantial connections, we’ll also research ‘big players’ in your industry and those outside of it – those already in the South West and those that would consider relocating here.

  • There is a face-to-face meeting with all candidates, before they are added to the shortlist. Any other assessments or profiling is also carried out and a detailed profile is provided.

  • Throughout the search process, confidentiality and protecting your organisation's identity, is paramount,

  • Before a search begins, a detailed document will be compiled, outlining the requirements, for your agreement.

  • Typically the fee payable is split in to three, with an upfront payment to secure our time.

Contingency Recruitment

  • Contingency recruitment is best suited for senior level roles where there is a larger pool of potential candidates with the relevant skills and experience.

  • Recruitment timescales are shorter.

  • There is not necessarily an exclusive relationship and therefore there can be more than one agency working on the role.

  • The recruitment consultant may be managing multiple projects at any one time.

  • Typically the hiring organisation will need to dedicate more time to the process, due to the higher number of candidates involved.

  • There is a face-to-face meeting between the consultant and candidates, before they are added to the shortlist.

  • A fee is payable only once a candidate Chase Executive has represented, has been placed.
